Hearts Behind the Badge

Beyond their duty to protect and serve, officers extend their hearts sharing kindness and uplifting families in need throughout the year.
Shop with a Cop
A community-police program bridging the gap between our officers and the community they serve. Officers refer the children from the community to have a fun shopping excursion during the holiday season.
First Responders 5K Run & Walk
The First Responders 5K Run & Walk is more than just a race it’s a chance to honor, celebrate, and support the police officers, firefighters, EMTs, and dispatchers who dedicate their lives to keeping us safe. Participants of all ages and fitness levels are invited to run, walk, or simply enjoy the fun community atmosphere. Proceeds benefit local programs that directly support first responders and their families.
First Responder Relief Fund
Emergency financial assistance for first responders and their families during hardship (medical, funeral, relocation)
Adopt-a-Station
Businesses, Schools, or Families can "Adopt" a local Fire, EMS, or Police Station through the First Responders Foundation of Kansas to provide meals, care packages, thank you cards, or facility upgrades.
Thank a Hero Thursday
Each week we select a local hero to thank them for their service (Firefighter, EMS, Police Officer, Deputy, or 911 Dispatcher) on a social media shoutout.
Tickets for Heroes
A community-driven initiative that provides free event tickets to our local first responders police, fire, EMS, dispatchers, and military giving them a chance to relax, connect, and enjoy well-deserved experiences outside of their service.
